After adding avatars on Facebook and Instagram, now WhatsApp you will incorporate them into your application.
Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, announced on your Facebook account the launch of avatars for the instant messaging application. “We bring avatars to WhatsApp! You can now use your avatar as a sticker in chats. More styles will be coming soon across all of our apps,” Zuckerberg wrote.
In a publication of blog, whatsapp reported that the avatar is a digital version of oneself and can be created from millions of combinations with various hairstyles, facial features and clothing.
Users can now create virtual characters in their image and can use it as a profile photo, in order to preserve identity or share as one of the 36 stickers personalized that show emotions.
According to WhatsApp, many people will create an avatar for the first time. “We will continue to include updates to styling, lighting, shadows, hair textures, and much more, to improve them over time,” the app noted.
To create the avatar you just have to update the application, go to Settings and look under the profile image for an Avatar menu option and create the character.
