Ultimate Survivor Edition for Switch

Grove Street Games, the developer of Ark: Ultimate Survivor Edition, has announced another project delay.. The game was originally going to be released for Nintendo Switch in September 2022, but it was pushed back to October 25.

Now, a couple of days before the launch, the company has issued a press release to reveal another unfortunate delay of the special version of Ark: Survival Evolved.

Ark: Ultimate Survivor Edition is a port for switch from the popular survival game Ark: Survival Evolved, which is five years old. In both Ark: Survival Evolved and Ark: Ultimate Survivor Edition, players take on the role of a survivor in a hostile prehistoric world filled with dinosaurs and danger.

The player has to survive by taming dinosaurs, creating dwellings and advancing technology. The new edition of the game for switch It will also add never-before-seen content with the educational Dinosaur Discovery mode.

Unfortunately, Grove Street Games has been forced to delay the release of the game once again. Not only has Grove Street Games had trouble releasing the Switch port, but the developer of the original title has also had trouble releasing the Ark DLC on time.

Now, according to the Switch studio, the launch process has encountered an “unforeseen and unprecedented environmental situation” in the Pacific Northwest. It’s unclear what exactly this means, especially since the studio is located in Gainesville, Florida, but this won’t allow the game to launch in time for October 25.

Now, the game studio expects the release to take place in early November, although the exact date has not been given. It could be assumed that the game should hit stores before the 10th, probably with the goal of releasing it even earlier, certainly before Ark 2 is ready.
