This week Xiaomi confirmed the arrival in Chile of two new teams: the Xiaomi 12T and the Xiaomi 12T Pro. These new 12T series smartphones offer several eye-catching features, but like most 2022 phones they want to stand out with their photography and battery offerings.
In that sense, in the always valued section of photos, the Xiaomi 12T will be equipped with a triple camera consisting of a 108MP main lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro camera. All while Xiaomi 12T Pro will feature a 200MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera.
According to Xiaomi, the 12T Pro will be able to record 8K videos and its photography proposal will be powered by artificial intelligence and two-times zoom features. It will also have a 20MP front camera (the same as the 12T).
On the other hand, both Xiaomi 12T Series devices will have 5,000mAh batteries and will include 120W HyperCharge, a fast charging function that will allow them to reach 100% battery in less than 20 minutes. And, although fast charging is always a positive thing, Xiaomi maintains that they will not have to carry their charger everywhere because both teams offer “up to 13.5 hours of screen experience.”
Now, if you are one of those people who are concerned about what is inside your phone, you have to consider that the Xiaomi 12T Pro has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and the Xiaomi 12T has a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Ultra processor. And both teams have 6.67-inch AMOLED CrystalRes screens.
The Xiaomi 12T Series will be available in three colors: black, blue and silver and while the Xiaomi 12T is priced at $649,990, the Xiaomi 12T Pro is priced at $769,990. But for its launch both teams will include a gift; a Xiaomi Smart Band 7 in the case of the 12T and a Smart Watch S1 Active in the case of the 12T Pro.
