The Weeknd cancels concert after losing his voice: “I’ll give you your money back”

Canadian singer The Weenkd was forced to leave his last show in Los Angeles unfinished on Saturday night after losing his voice then present three songs.

While performing his hit “Can’t Feel My Face” that brought him global recognition, the award-winning musician abruptly stopped the concert and left the stage before 70 thousand spectators gathered at the SoFi stadium.

“I want to personally apologize to you. I don’t know what happened when I screamed, but I lost my voice.”he explained when he returned and hinted, with a broken voice, that he was not in a position to continue the show.

“I’ll give you your money back”promised the artist born as Abel Tesfaye and to remedy the uncertainty, he added: “But I will do a show very soon for you.”

Later, The Weeknd reported what happened on his Instagram account: “My voice trailed off during the first song and I’m devastated. I felt it go and my heart sank.. My deepest apologies to my fans here. I promise I’ll make it up to you with a new date.”
