Palestino continues with the realization of the preseason under the command of DT Pablo ‘Vitamina’ Sánchez. In the midst of their preparation in La Cisterna for the 2023 National Championship, the tricolors announced the arrival of a new goalkeeper to the squad.
This is César Rigamonti, a goalkeeper from Central Córdoba, from Argentina. The trans-Andean player is 35 years old and before he played for Sportivo Belgrano, Banfield, Sarmiento, Quilmes and Vélez Sarsfield. He will also live his first experience abroad.
“I am very happy to arrive at a club that everyone speaks highly of to me. It is an institution that has managed to establish itself at the international level”, Rigamonti said.
“I am in a moment of great experience. I come from a league where you compete and in a good way”, added the goalkeeper.
Lastly, the new goalkeeper of the La Cisterna team assured that “This step is important, I come here with the intention of doing my best so that the club does well, continues to grow and so that Palestino is a little more important.”
Rigamonti will share the goal of Palestino with Gonzalo Collao, who returned to Chile after his matches abroad from Universidad de Chile. The new signing replaces the also Argentine Daniel Sappa, after the return of the goalkeeper to Argentinos Juniors.
