Are here! BMX riders enter the scene at Riders Republic. BMX culture bursts into the Republic, with a new dedicated area, a new race, sponsors, and new gameplay.
Ubisoft announced that the fourth season of Riders Republic, Freestylin’, is available to all players. They will be able to stroll through Area 52, the area dedicated to BMX, and try a free introduction to BMX racing.
The BMX Race is available to purchase within the Year Pass for immediate access or as a standalone add-on starting September 21 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, as well as Windows PC at via the Ubisoft Store and the Epic Games Store. Players can also subscribe to Ubisoft+ on PC, Stadia, and Amazon Luna to access the game.
This new season will provide players with the long-awaited BMX Sport Add-on. BMX is all about freestyle and the bikes are trick machines that give riders a wide range of motion to express themselves. Players will embrace the creativity of underground street style in urban locations and fly high over dirt trails.
The BMX Sport add-on includes a dedicated race mode and events, along with the new BMX-focused area, Area 52, nestled in the heart of Canyonland. This previously classified military zone, dotted with huge satellite dishes and abandoned warehouses, has been taken over by horsemen and will host new events riddled with alien-related secrets.
The addition of BMX will also bring new gameplay features: Grind, for those who have a passion for rails, tricks and gap transfers, and Half-Pipe, for those who love speed and breadth. This new sports add-on will allow players to experience 3 disciplines: Street, Park and Dirt.
This season will also kick off the highly anticipated Vans partnership, along with the addition of new sponsors, including Cult, Odyssey, We The People, Flybikes, and SubRosa, just to name a few, offering a ton of new gear and customization combos.
The famous Vans Waffle Cup and RedBull Uncontained events will put players to the test and challenge their riding skills. Players can look forward to more surprise events along the way, with five new funkies.
