Yesterday Capcom held its Resident Evil Showcase where the Japanese developer informed us of various details about Resident Evil Villageas well as different products that are around the franchise.
However, and as promised months ago, this mini Capcom event was the right time for the company to talk, show and give us details of the new demo that Resident Evil Village will have, which will arrive soon, although for some not so much.
According to the information provided by Tsuyoshi Kanda, producer of this eighth numbered installment, the new Resident Evil Village demo will allow us to explore the town and the castle, this time with combat and resource management capabilities, a demo that can only be played for 2 hours or until the goal is met.
According to what has been said, PS4 and PS5 players can already pre-download this new demo, however, Capcom has given the dates for when it is allowed to play, and here things have been somewhat cumbersome.
First of all, PS4 and PS5 players will have an advantage, since Capcom has arranged an early and divided demo, since from April 18, players will be able to explore the Castle for only 30 minutes, while on April 25 they will be able to do it in the villa, also only 30 minutes and on both occasions you can repeat the experience after 8 hours.
For the rest of the mortals, that is, for players with Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC, this demo will be available on May 2 and 3, and we will be able to play for a full hour, or until we finish with the objective of the Resident Evil Village demo.
There is certainly excitement and high expectations regarding this demo and what Capcom will show us, which is basically the same strategy used for Resident Evil 2 and it was quite beneficial.
Resident Evil Village will be available on May 7, 2021 for the Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC platforms.
