RC versions of iOS, iPadOS and macOS Ventura now available, with the latter confirmed for October 24

After four months of testing, the final version of macOS Ventura has arrived. It will be available to developers as a Release Candidate and It will be officially released on October 24. It will be on that date when you can download it. We recommend you prepare your mac so that everything goes smoothly. The same goes for iPadOS and iOS 16.1, they were released today as beta RC and will be available next week.

A beta Release Candidate is the one that comes out immediately prior to the final version. There are usually no differences between one and the other, although sometimes small bugs that are found before launching the final version are corrected. However, if you are not sure, we do not recommend installing it.

Apple prepares for the final versions

MacOS Ventura brings interesting news such as Stage Manager Along with iPadOS 16, the possibility of using our iPhone with iOS 16 as a webcamchanges to the Mail app, and much more. What is most expected from this new operating system is stability, efficiency and securityand Apple is used to always complying in those aspects, especially after so long of betas.

iPadOS 16.1 also comes loaded with new features. From the possibility of configuring the home screen, to the long-awaited Weather app and changes throughout the entire system. iOS 16.1 For its part, it brings the new Live Activities, as well as the possibility of viewing the battery percentage when it was not possible before, Fitness+ without Apple Watch, and much more.

It looks like the final version of macOS and iPadOS that we see will be very polished. As we have already seen, they have been in testing for 4 months. At the beginning they had many problems, bugs, their optimization was very poor, etc. Apple has been able to correct all of this within the timeframe that had been set, so it is possible that we are facing one of the most stable versions of recent years.

As we have already seen, the final version of macOS Ventura will be available to everyone on October 24. To download it, all you have to do is go that day to System preferences, Software update, wait for macOS Ventura to appear and hit download and install. In the case of iPadOS and iOS 16.1 you have to go to Settings, General, Software updateand hit download and install.
