Ramiro Gonzalez | He was rejected and will have his chance in Colo Colo: “I’m not broken”

This Sunday, Ramiro González arrived in Chile to finalize the last details of his incorporation to Colo Colo. The Argentinian-Chilean central defender, who previously played for Unión Española, will become the second reinforcement of the albos, after the arrival of goalkeeper Fernando de Paul.

“It is a nice challenge and with great desire. It is the biggest club in Chile, there are beautiful challenges ahead, so I am happy”, González said at the Santiago airport.

The issue of his failed incorporation into the previous Chilean transfer market was also addressed by the defender. DT Gustavo Quinteros requested his signing at the beginning of 2022, but in the end it did not materialize due to objections to the rigorous medical check-up.

“Grateful to the teacher (Quinteros), I have nothing as discussed, I am not broken and I do not have anything strange, I ended up competing”, González indicated, adding that “I come from competing and playing without problems. I want to add from the side that touches and try to make it go well for us”.

González acted in 2022 for Platense, in the Argentine First Division. “We came with the family to close some details and we are happy. It was a long process, thank God it happened, some details are still missing and later we can talk more calmly, ”the future Cacique central defender also stated.
