Overwatch 2: Why was Mei disabled?

Suddenly the scientist disappeared from the hero shooter but Blizzard has already exposed her abysmal reason and date of return.

Mei is the new heroine who was affected by glitches in Overwatch 2. Just as she happened with previous characters, she vanished from the gallery of heroes in a flash. But Blizzard has already given his word as to why this act and when he returns.

according to one publication In the company’s social networks, a powerful bug was reported in the scientific company. This was about what Ice Barrier allowed heroes to reach certain not-so-frequent locations when combined with some abilities. Therefore, it will not be playable in all modes until November 15, the day that coincides with the date of introduction of the next patch.

“We are temporarily disabling Mei to fix a bug with her Ice Wall ability that allows heroes to get to unintended locations. We are working to fix these issues as soon as possible and aim to bring Mei back in our next patch, scheduled for November 15.”

Let’s remember that Mei is the third heroine to be disabled due to technical failures after the launch of Overwatch 2. The previous two cases were those of Bastion and Torbjörn who were blocked from October 10 to 25. Unlike the last one affected, both characters did not yet have an estimated return date from Blizzard.

Until then, we will have to wait for the November 15 patch that will bring everything related to the balance of heroes. However, if it is a complex bug to fix, there may be a possibility of a delay and thus postpone your return to the roster.
