NASA will attempt a new launch of Artemis 1 for this Saturday

The POT announced that during the session on Saturday, September 3 will attempt a re-launch for the Artemis 1 mission after a failed first takeoff.

From the American agency they had contemplated as original date last monday 29th august. Nevertheless, had to be postponed due to a technical problem.

Strictly speaking, it was canceled for a failure of one of its four RS-25 engines used for the rocket. In the test stage it was not possible to reach the ideal temperature.

After this, work was started to solve the problem as soon as possible and reschedule a new takeoff for the mission. For this, in addition to technical efforts, they depended on various factors such as the weather.
