FTR will not be part of the launch cast of AEW Fight Forever

Since its official announcement in November 2020, AEW Fight Forever It has garnered great expectation among fans of wrestling and video games. The development by Yuke’s and AEW Games has been very slow, with the first official advances coming to light only a few weeks ago.

As it is already public knowledge, the development of Fight Forever has been described as “chaotic”. This is due to the need for all parties to release this title as soon as possible, as well as the sudden inclusion of characters who have made their AEW debut since the official announcement a couple of years ago. Precisely, Fightful Select confirmed a few moments ago that FTR will be one of the great absences for the release of this game.

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler will not be included in the first version of the title. Some sources clarified to Fightful that this decision was made during the graphic modeling stage halfway through the year. The members of FTR were informed of this news by phone, which would have caused discomfort in the current AAA, IWGP and ROH tag team champions, especially since the appearance in the video game means an economic commission for those involved. It should be noted that this fact does not rule out its future inclusion in the title as post-launch downloadable content.

All Elite Wrestling: Fight Forever no official release date yetalthough Kenny Omega has already anticipated in several interviews that the 2022 as a limit to present the project. The title will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, XBOX One, XBOX Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. More news about the video game is expected from AEW in the coming weeks.
