Detroit: Become Human reaches 8 million units sold

From Quantic Dream they have announced that Detroit: Become Human has reached 8 million units sold since its launch in 2018.

As they announced, the figure was reached after the game will exceed 2.5 million units sold on PC.

“2022 was remarkable for QUANTIC DREAM. We achieved a significant increase in sales of our three landmark PC games compared to 2021, an unusual phenomenon that adds to the already excellent sales results recorded in the previous three years,” said Guillaume de Fondaumière, Quantic Co-CEO. Dream.

“The continued success of Detroit: Become Human, but also Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls, is due to the quality of these titles, their enduring appeal to PC gamers, as well as the painstaking and long-term work of our editorial team. We are delighted to present our works to an increasingly broad and young audience, and on all continents. At the end of 2022, we also saw a record level of ‘wish list’ option on these three titles, giving us hope for an equally exceptional 2023.”

Detroit: Become Human was released in May 2018 exclusively for PlayStation 4 and in December 2019 it came to PC. The game is set in a futuristic world where androids begin to become aware and free themselves from human control.
