Bayonetta fell in love again last October with a third installment that has provided us dozens of combats to the style hack and slash, but it seems that the Witch of Umbra is far from leaving the world of video games. After all, those responsible for Platinum Games claimed that Bayonetta’s future was assured and, as if this were not enough, it turns out that they also want to prepare us for a fourth title that will be surprising for everyone.
Bayonetta Origins: Cherry and the Lost Demon will be available on Nintendo Switch on March 17.
However, the gala The Game Awards 2022 has left us with an unexpected announcement that has nothing to do with Bayonetta 4, since Nintendo has opted to present a spin-off which, with the name of Bayonetta Origins: Cherry and the Lost Demon, will delve into the story of the protagonist through a proposal never seen in the franchise. In this sense, here we can forget about the frantic battles that characterize this character and, instead, prepare for a more narrative-focused adventure.
The installment, which will launch exclusively for Nintendo Switch on March 17, will review the story of the Witch of Umbra with the possibility of controlling her when she was known as Cherry, who enters a forest full of mysteries and offensive creatures. In this way, we will have the opportunity to know more about this iconic character for the next titles that are released in the future.
What did we think of Bayonetta 3?
There are still several weeks left to discover a new facet of Bayonetta through this unexpected spin-off, but it should be remembered that this character is still enjoying the success of her latest adventure on Nintendo Switch. After all, we already told you in our Bayonetta 3 analysis that Platinum Games once again demonstrates its mastery in video game development improving a saga that already touched excellence.
