After Survivor Series Wargames, Asuka began to gain notoriety in programming Monday Night RAW. Despite getting his team’s victory in the Premium Live Event, “The Empress” lost the advantage match to Rhea Ripley at the red show on November 21.
The rivalry between Rhea and Asuka ran its course in the qualifying triple threat last Monday. After Bayley’s victory, the Judgment Day member began to retaliate fiercely against the competitor from Japan, knocking her out in the center of the ring. Asuka’s reactions on social media towards this match they gained quite a bit of notoriety among the fans.
Asuka’s Twitter account, which previously uploaded memes starring the fighter, started getting much weirder updates than usual. The Grand Slam champion’s posts began to alarm fans with phrases like “goodbye cruel world” or “the world is full of s**t”. However, relief and confusion were mixed when Asuka shared old photos of his stage in companies like SHIMMER or REINA Joshi Puroresu.
That aspect of the then known as kana included an unusual clown makeup, taking a much darker tint to the character of “The Empress” that today we associate with the fighter. The photos and videos circulated during the last hours to the confusion of the fans. Notably some kind of meaning has not been reported that relates this fact to future WWE programming.
