A possible ‘9’ for Colo Colo is moving away and the ‘plan B’ gains strength

The Colo Colo transfer market was advancing fast: upon the arrival of Fernando de Paul, the agreement with Ramiro González was added. However, the process stalled for the past few days. Black and White must sign a midfielder and a striker, as requested by Gustavo Quinteros.

Regarding the second, Daniel Moron informed the Football Commission that the option of Leandro Benegas is far away. The sports manager explained at the meeting this Thursday that the cost of leaving Independiente is very high.

Benegas is liked by the coaching staff and the player was already among the mid-year candidates. The operation could not be carried out on that occasion either.

Thus, the name of Ignacio Jeraldino gains strength. The attacker played on loan at Coquimbo Unido, but belongs to Santos Laguna. The board of directors has already started negotiations to sign the former Audax.

The idea, as they recognize in Macul, is to add an alternative in the position of Juan Martín Lucero. Colo Colo will not have Luciano Arriagada as of January.

In the same meeting, the case of Carlos Palacios was explained. The situation is similar to that of Benegas: despite the footballer’s interest, Vasco da Gama is not willing to give it up. The club is already analyzing other options.
